A good matcha begins with a moment of calm. Here's how to easily prepare it at home:

1. Sift 1 to 2g of matcha into a bowl
This prevents lumps and gives a smooth texture.

2. Add 60 to 80ml of hot water (70-80°C)
Not boiling! Too hot, and the benefits are reduced.

3. Whisk briskly in a W or M shape
With a bamboo whisk (chasen) until you obtain a fine foam.

4. Breathe. Savor slowly.

What you need:

  • Quality Matcha (Machilo, of course)

  • A matcha bowl (chawan)

  • A bamboo whisk (chasen)

  • A small colander
