Ingredients for your Matcha Donuts
For the donut dough
- 💚 80 g oat flour
- 💚 50 g almond flour
- 💚 2 eggs
- 💚 100 g plain unsweetened yogurt
- 💚 50 g erythritol
- 💚 5 g baking powder
- 💚 ½ tsp vanilla essence (optional)
For the matcha glaze
- 💚 100 g unsweetened white chocolate
- 💚 1 g matcha
Preparing the donut dough
- In a bowl, mix the wet ingredients: eggs, yogurt, and vanilla essence.
- In another bowl, add the dry ingredients: the sweetener and sift the oat and almond flours as well as the baking powder.
- Add the dry ingredients to the bowl with the wet ingredients and mix with a whisk until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Preheat the oven to 180ºC and grease the donut molds.
- Fill the molds with the dough.
- Bake the molds for about 12 minutes at 180ºC or until golden brown.
Preparing the matcha glaze
- Put the white chocolate in a bowl and melt in the microwave in 30-second intervals to prevent burning.
- Disperse the matcha into the white chocolate, stirring well with a whisk to avoid lumps.
- Remove the donuts from the oven and let them cool before unmolding.
- Once cooled, dip half of the donut into the white chocolate and matcha mixture.
- Decorate as desired.
